Julie's Journey
I got into fitness in my mid 20's. I was an avid gym goer but not always making the best food choices. I was that girl who could eat anything and not gain weight.

Fast forward to 2009, I was at my heaviest. What happened?! I was about 30 lbs overweight. Not crazy, I know, but for me, I felt it was. I felt terribly uncomfortable, unhappy, living in sweatpants, and struggling to get back on track. Long story short, I hunkered down, did some home workouts, focused on food and got back in better shape.

Fast forward to 2012, I'm the yo-yo queen and reached another breaking point. The home workouts and trying to do it on my own wasn't working. Enter Beachbody, through their workouts and supplements, and then becoming a health and fitness coach, gave me the support and accountability and tools to reach my goals.

Around 2013-2014 I noticed I was having some reactions to food and some minor health issues. Such as extreme gas and bloating, sheer exhaustion (as in I was falling asleep at work!), irritability, low energy. Through some trial and error with different foods, along with lots of Googling, I realized I might be dealing with some gut damage!

Thank the Lord you can heal your gut!

All those poor food choices, and some overuse of antibiotics, wreaked some havoc on my insides. Thankfully, through a proper diet - specific to healing the gut - and taking the right supplements, I got back on track!

In 2017, I quit Beachbody as I felt that path had run it's course and I moved on to bigger and better pastures. I'm happy to say I've most recently started up a new business, I'm a Solle Specialist promoting NATURAL supplements and products that are 100% plant based, no fillers and no chemicals. Just pure plants and herbs! Perfect! Focus is on the mind-body connection and gut health!
THIS is what I feel I need to be doing.

I won't lie, emotional eating is a constant struggle for me and sometimes I fall into the world's traps and overindulge with things I shouldn't, which then causes issues to flare up again. But... we're all a work in progress right?! ;)

Currently, I'm still active with various fitness programs, I mainly follow a low carb way of eating and try to eat as clean and healthy as I can. I do LOVE motivating others and supporting them in their journey towards better health and wellness and with that said, I do have a group on FB that everyone is welcome to join! (Click to join.)

I feel like I'm truly becoming the BEST version of me and hope I can help you become YOUR own best too!
